Qualitative assessments
We try to take a holistic lens to informing decisions, modelling whole systems when required, to provide comprehensive assessments of potential impacts, value etc. This is often facilitated through the inclusion of wider perspectives.
Whenever possible, we adopt a mixed-methods approach to our work. Our analysts can help find out what patients, families and members of the wider community think about innovations, as well as their perceptions of current or planned services. We can also engage with stakeholders involved in the care pathway or system. Our own qualitative analysts use the latest methods to gain such insights. We can provide guidance on the inclusion of such perspectives at different stages of a project, including at project planning and proposal stages.

We were also looking for any gaps in service or new ideas to help improve the care provided to people with hearing loss in Norfolk. The evaluation was funded by the Lottery Community Fund, which also provides financial support for the charity. Unlike independent providers, Hear for Norfolk gets very little financial support from the CCG (Clinical Commissioning Group).
Findings show that Hear for Norfolk fills a huge gap to support the service users in the maintenance of hearing aids. They provide person-centred care, are always friendly, very efficient and go out of their way to help service users.
