Mary joined the team as a Research Associate in Health Economics in March 2023. She has experience conducting economic evaluations at UEA and has worked as a consultant with the Palladium group Nigeria on a USAID-funded health program aimed at strengthening the country's health care system. Mary has also consulted with the Health Information System Programme (HISP) Nigeria to enhance health systems using the District Health Information System (DHIS2).

Mary Onoja is a skilled analyst who is committed to improving health care systems through evidence-based decision making. She holds a distinguished master’s degree in Health Economics from the University of East Anglia (UEA) and a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Extension and Economics.
