What we can do

Our combined team brings rich and specific expertise, including knowledge of patient care. We have undertaken economic and financial analysis of health care and health system interventions, including many digital health technology solutions, and redesign for many health services, clinical and specialist groups and charities, including Clinical Commissioning Groups and National Screening Programmes.

We have conducted many studies of value proposition development, feasibility, pricing strategies, and economic evaluations using both prospective designs (such as trials) and bespoke modelling approaches.

HEC has recently completed projects to support the economic cases for remodelling trauma and elective pathways in orthopaedics; model demand and costs of rheumatology services; and estimate cost avoidance of more accurate detection of breast cancer phenotypes suitable for chemotherapy.

We undertake numerous economic evaluations, return on investment analyses, economic modelling studies and detailed cost-of-illness studies. These have covered not just health care but also other relevant perspectives such as social care and broader economic productivity.
